Why make a website?

The modern net is, of course, a disaster. Several large sites have completely dominated the discourse that was occurring on the web, and now every detail of every life is tracked, monitored, and harvested to create marketing material to further extract as much wealth from us as possible. In order to get a message out, one has to engage with these platforms and hope that their idea fits within the Overton Window or they are silenced.

This disaster has also stifled the creative urge that is natural to man, and has further reduced us into passive consumers. The modern man is cuckolded in almost every area of his life. Not only via content designed to sexually stimulate, but also by content that stimulates a sense of adventure, content that makes one feel like they are accomplishing something like fitness or generation wealth for example, or even content that belittles and makes others look retarded for a sense of feeling better than another, or to justify ones political or religious position.

Of course, not all “content consumption” is some great evil; the internet has given me many ideas and knowledge that has made my life better. However, the percentage of the content that I consumed that has been valuable is extremely small compared the the mountains of garbage that I took in.

The goal of this site is for me to have a small stake in the internet and to create something that will hopefully be of use to somebody. It will serve as my place to put my thoughts, updates, or some commentary on topics that interest me.
